Mac vs. PC? Who cares?
Back when I had my first Mac of my own, I engaged in the Mac vs. PC wars all the time. It irritated me so that the “Windows fanboys” would pull the “can a Mac do games” card over and over.It still irritates me to this day, but now the reason it irritates me is because it’s incredibly stupid and petty. I don’t care what you think is the better computer. I love my Mac and am incredibly glad I have it. That’s all that matters to me. I don’t have to deal with viruses, 20 security programs, or Windows. If you like Windows, or just can’t afford a Mac, and you decide to trash Macs, or if you love Macs and decide to trash PCs, it doesn’t matter to me. Me and my Mac will sit down and watch the fight.

Haha! I have that PC, but would defiantly prefer the Macintosh!

Hello. I read your post today on forum.macnn.com about running v. X on a Mac Intel. I do also and it works fine. Yesterday I acquired the new MacBook Pro and installed Office 2008. I have wasted a day working with it, mostly Excel and PP issues that cannot be resolved on my work schedule by MS. Apple agreed to refund my money for the program. But I need Excel and PP so I thought I would install my old version of v. X. Do you know if the program will run with Leopard, are they compatible? Thanks. JMB

Yes, it will. It’s not without a couple quirks, but I find it more enjoyable than 2008.

I’m a Windows user at heart, and Mac convert-wannabe (meaning I don’t have one - yet!). I currently deal basically soley with Windows, yet I droll whenever I see a great Mac OS feature or application that does sormthing particulalrly well (iGTD, GarageBand for podcasting, CamTwist, and more).
